1. Ownership of resources
All Aussie Animals Education resources remain the intellectual property of About Time Too Pty Ltd trading as Aussie Animals, unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing, downloading or receiving a resource does not transfer ownership of copyright, illustrations, designs, worksheets, text, layout, templates, branding, activities, teacher guides or other intellectual property.

Aussie Animals Education resources may be sold or supplied under one or more of the following licence types:
- Single Teacher Licence

A Single Teacher Licence is a one-off purchase of the current version of the resource available at the time of purchase.
A Single Teacher Licence does not include access to future updates, corrections, revised versions, expanded versions, new editions or subscription-only improvements unless this is expressly stated on the product page, checkout page, invoice or written offer.

A Single Teacher Licence may be used by one parent, carer or homeschool educator with children in their own household or homeschool setting, but it must not be shared with other families, homeschool groups, co-ops, online communities or paid tutoring businesses unless expressly permitted.
Homeschool groups, microschools, learning pods or co-ops may need a Small Team Licence, Whole School Licence or Custom Licence depending on how the resource will be used.
4. Small Team Licence

The number of permitted users will be stated on the product page, checkout page or invoice. For example, a Small Team Licence may allow use by 3–5 teachers.
During the active 12-month licence period, the licensed team may access updates, corrections or revised versions of the purchased resource that we make available to active licence holders.

If the resource will be used by more staff than the team licence allows, you need a larger licence.
5. Whole School Licence
A Whole School Licence allows staff within one school campus to use the purchased resource for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the product page, checkout page, invoice or written offer.

If a school has multiple campuses, each campus needs its own Whole School Licence unless a custom licence has been agreed.
6. Free Resource Licence
From time to time, we may provide free resources.
Free resources remain protected by copyright.
Unless otherwise stated, free resources may be used by one teacher, parent, homeschool educator or classroom for personal, classroom or homeschool use.

A Custom or Extended Licence may be required for:
- multiple school campuses;
- education departments;

A written custom licence may include different user limits, pricing, permitted uses, restrictions, duration, renewal terms, update access and reporting requirements.
8. Digital classroom platforms and learning management systems
You may upload a purchased resource to a secure classroom platform only where:
- your licence allows the relevant users to access it;
- access is restricted to your current students or licensed staff;
- the platform is not publicly accessible;
- the resource cannot be accessed by other schools or unlicensed users;
- the resource is not added to a public or shared marketplace;
- the resource is removed when no longer needed, where practical.
Examples may include secure school systems, classroom portals or learning management systems used only by your class, team or licensed school.
You must not upload resources to public websites, public Google Drive folders, public Dropbox links, public Facebook groups, public Pinterest pins, public forums or publicly searchable platforms.
9. Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams and similar tools
You may use resources in Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Seesaw, Canvas, Moodle or similar classroom tools only where access is limited to the students and staff covered by your licence.
You must not use these platforms to share resources with unlicensed teachers, other schools, public audiences or unrelated organisations.
If a resource is uploaded for a class, you should ensure access is limited to that class or licensed group.
10. Printing and photocopying
You may print and photocopy resources for students covered by your licence.
For example:
- a Single Teacher Licence may be printed for that teacher’s own class;
- a Small Team Licence may be printed for students taught by the licensed team;

This includes:
- classroom walls;
- student desks;
- group tables;
- interactive whiteboards;
- classroom screens;
- school display boards within the licensed campus;
- private home learning spaces.
You must not display resources in a way that makes the full resource publicly downloadable or reusable by others.
12. Editing, adapting and modifying resources
Unless a resource is supplied as an editable file, you should treat the resource as a finished product.
You may make minor practical adjustments for classroom delivery, such as:
- choosing which pages to print;
- enlarging a worksheet for display;
- adding student names to printed copies;
- writing instructions on printed copies;
- differentiating the way you deliver the task;
- using selected activities rather than the whole pack.
You must not:
- edit the file to remove copyright notices;
- remove branding;
- claim the edited resource as your own;
- extract pages to create a new product;
- modify the resource for resale;
- convert the resource into a competing product;
- use illustrations, text or layouts in your own resources;
- upload modified versions publicly.
If a resource includes editable templates, the product page may state what editing is allowed.
13. Student copies and completed work
Students may write on, complete or submit copies of worksheets provided under a valid licence.
Students and schools retain ownership of student work.
Aussie Animals does not claim ownership of student work.
Completed student worksheets may be used for normal classroom purposes, such as:
- teacher review;
- marking;
- classroom display;
- student portfolios;
- parent communication;
- school assessment records;
- moderation within the school.
However, if completed student work includes substantial copies of our resource pages, it should not be posted publicly in a way that allows others to copy or download the original resource.
Teachers and schools are responsible for managing student privacy and permissions when displaying or sharing student work.
14. Relief teachers and casual staff
A licensed teacher may use resources for relief teaching where the licence covers that use.
A school with a Whole School Licence may allow relief teachers working at the licensed campus to use the resource while performing duties for that school.
A relief teacher with a Single Teacher Licence may use the resource for their own relief teaching work, but must not leave digital copies with schools or other teachers unless those users are licensed.
15. Tutors and commercial tutoring
Individual tutors may use a resource under a Single Teacher Licence only with students they personally teach, unless otherwise stated.
Tutoring businesses, tutoring centres, online tutoring platforms, commercial education providers or organisations with multiple tutors require a Custom Licence unless a product page expressly allows that use.
You must not include Aussie Animals resources in paid tutoring packages, memberships, online courses, downloadable course materials or commercial programs without written permission.
16. Libraries, resource banks and shared drives
You must not add a resource to a shared library, resource bank or shared drive unless all users with access are covered by the licence.
For example:
- a Single Teacher Licence must not be added to a whole-school staff drive;
- a Small Team Licence may be added to a secure folder accessible only by the licensed team;
- a Whole School Licence may be added to a secure staff drive for the licensed campus;
- a Custom Licence may allow broader access if agreed in writing.

You must not upload our paid resources into AI tools or automated platforms where the content may be stored, reused, learned from, shared with third parties or used to generate competing content.
Limited use of AI tools for your own private lesson preparation may be permitted only where:

- the resource is not stored or reused by the AI provider;
- the content is not used to create competing products;
- student personal information is not included;

- the output is not redistributed as a substitute for the original resource.
20. Copyright notices and branding
You must not remove, obscure, crop, alter or delete copyright notices, logos, footers, watermarks, attribution statements or branding from Aussie Animals resources unless we have expressly permitted this in writing.
Where a resource is printed or used digitally, copyright notices should remain visible where practical.
21. Updates and new versions
We may update, revise, correct or improve resources from time to time.
Unless a product, licence, subscription or written offer expressly includes updates, purchasing a resource does not guarantee free updates, lifetime updates or access to future versions.
Single Teacher Licences include the current version of the resource only, unless otherwise stated on the product page, checkout page or invoice.
Single Teacher Licences do not include access to future updates, corrections, revised versions, expanded versions or new editions.
Small Team Licences include access to available updates, corrections or revised versions of the purchased resource during the active 12-month licence period.
Whole School Licences include access to available updates, corrections or revised versions of the purchased resource during the active 12-month licence period.
After a Small Team Licence or Whole School Licence expires, access to new updates, revised files or future versions ends unless the licence is renewed.
At our discretion, we may provide corrected or updated files to previous purchasers outside their licence period, but we are not required to do so.
If you download or use an updated version, these Licence Terms apply to that version.
22. Licence duration
Unless otherwise stated, a Single Teacher Licence or Parent / Homeschool Licence allows ongoing use of the purchased version of the resource for as long as you comply with these Licence Terms.
A Single Teacher Licence is a one-off purchase of the current version only.
Unless otherwise stated, a Single Teacher Licence allows ongoing use of the purchased version of the resource for as long as you comply with these Licence Terms.

Small Team Licences run for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Whole School Licences run for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
During the active 12-month licence period, Small Team and Whole School Licence holders may access updates made available for the purchased resource.
When a Small Team or Whole School Licence expires:
- access to updates, revised files and future versions ends unless renewed;
- the licence holder may continue using copies downloaded during the active licence period, provided use remains within these Licence Terms;
- the resource must not be shared with additional users, campuses, schools or organisations beyond the original licence scope.
Subscription-based access may end when the subscription expires or is cancelled.
Account-based access may end if your account is closed.
Access to downloads may not remain available indefinitely.
Licences may be terminated if you breach these Licence Terms.
You should keep a secure copy of resources you are entitled to use, subject to your licence restrictions.
23. Licence transfer
Licences are not transferable unless we agree in writing.
You must not transfer, sell, assign, gift or pass your licence to another person, teacher, school or organisation.
If a teacher leaves a school:
- resources purchased personally by the teacher remain with that teacher, subject to the licence;
- resources purchased by the school remain with the school, subject to the licence;
- access should not be duplicated in a way that exceeds the licence.
If there is uncertainty about ownership of a purchase, contact us.
24. Staff changes
For a Small Team Licence or Whole School Licence, staff changes are permitted within the licensed school or organisation, provided the total use remains within the licence scope.
For example:
- if one licensed team member leaves, another staff member within the same team may use the resource;
- a Whole School Licence may continue to be used by current staff at the licensed campus;
- resources must not remain accessible to staff who have left the licensed organisation.
Staff changes do not extend the licence period or provide access to updates after the licence has expired.
25. School closure, merger or restructure
If a school closes, merges, restructures or changes campus arrangements, the licence does not automatically transfer to a new entity, campus or school network.
Contact us to confirm whether continued use is permitted.
We may approve reasonable continuation of use at our discretion.

If we believe a licence has been breached, we may:
- contact you to resolve the issue;
- request removal of unauthorised copies;
- suspend access;
- terminate your account;
- revoke the licence;
- refuse future purchases;
- invoice for the appropriate licence;
- issue takedown notices;
- take legal action where necessary.
Where reasonably practicable, we will give the account holder notice of the issue and an opportunity to respond or remedy the breach before termination, unless urgent action is required.
27. Licence audits and verification
For school, team, organisational or custom licences, we may request reasonable information to verify licence use, such as:
- school or organisation name;
- campus;
- number of users;
- licence type;
- purchase record;
- staff access arrangements;
- location of shared files.
We will not request student personal information for licence verification.

If you purchased the wrong licence type, contact us. We may allow you to upgrade to a higher licence by paying the difference.
We are not required to downgrade or refund a licence after purchase unless required by law.
29. Licence upgrades
You may be able to upgrade from:
- Single Teacher Licence to Small Team Licence;

- Small Team Licence to Whole School Licence;

30. Licence records
Your invoice, order confirmation, account record or receipt may be used as evidence of your licence.
You should keep a copy of your purchase confirmation for your records.
Schools should keep licence records in a place accessible to relevant staff.
31. No implied rights
You may only use resources in the ways expressly allowed by these Licence Terms.
No other rights are granted by implication.
If you are unsure whether a use is allowed, contact us before using the resource in that way.
