Licence options for schools and teams
AussieAnimals Education offers flexible licence options depending on how the resource will be used.
Single Teacher Licence
A Single Teacher Licence is a one-off purchase for one individual teacher, parent, carer, homeschool educator or tutor.
It is suitable for:
- One classroom teacher
- One relief teacher
- One homeschool family
- One individual tutor
- One parent or carer supporting learning at home
This licence includes the current version of the resource only. Future updates are not included.
A Single Teacher Licence does not allow the resource to be shared with other staff, uploaded to a shared school drive, placed in a staff resource folder or used across a teaching team.
Team Licence – 3–5 Teachers
A Team Licence is a 12-month licence for a small teaching team of 3–5 teachers within the same school, campus, homeschool co-op or organisation.
It is suitable for:
- Year level teams
- Small teaching teams
- Shared planning groups
- Homeschool co-ops
- Small education organisations
A Team Licence includes access to resource updates released during the active 12-month licence period.
This is a good option when several teachers need to use the same resource across classes, planning sessions or shared classroom delivery.
Whole School Licence
A Whole School Licence is a 12-month licence for use by staff at one school site or campus.
It is suitable for:
- Whole-school resource access
- Shared staff folders
- Internal school LMS use
- Relief teacher folders
- Curriculum rollouts across multiple classes
- School-wide science, wildlife or sustainability programs
A Whole School Licence includes access to resource updates released during the active 12-month licence period.
This is the best option when a resource will be used by multiple staff members across a school site or stored in a shared school system.
Are Team and Whole School licences subscriptions?
Team and Whole School Licences are 12-month licences, not ongoing subscriptions unless automatic renewal is specifically offered and selected.
During the active 12-month licence period, licensed users can access the resource and any updates released during that period.
If automatic renewal is not enabled, the licence does not renew automatically.
Important note:
Single Teacher Licences are one-off purchases and include the current version of the resource only. Team and Whole School Licences run for 12 months and include updates released during the active licence period. No licence includes lifetime updates unless this is clearly stated.
What schools can do with a licence
Depending on the licence selected, your school or team may:
- Use the resource with students covered by the licence
- Print classroom copies
- Display resources on classroom screens or interactive whiteboards
- Save files in a password-protected internal staff folder
- Upload files to a secure school LMS for staff and students covered by the licence
- Use updated versions released during an active Team or Whole School Licence period
Resources must not be uploaded publicly, shared outside the licensed school or team, resold, redistributed, added to public folders or placed on third-party resource platforms.
If you are unsure which licence is right for your school, contact us before purchasing and we can help you choose the best option.
