About our resources

What are AussieAnimals Education teaching packs?

AussieAnimals Education teaching packs are structured classroom resources built around Australian wildlife, habitats and science concepts. They are designed to help teachers deliver engaging, curriculum-connected lessons with less planning time.

Depending on the pack type, resources may include teacher guides, student workbooks, fact sheets, activity sheets, exit tickets, assessment tools, answer keys, differentiation support and print-ready files.

They are created for Australian primary school teachers, but they are also suitable for relief teachers, homeschool families, tutors and parents supporting learning at home.

What subjects do your packs cover?

Our packs currently focus on Science and related curriculum areas for Foundation through Year 6, with a strong emphasis on biological sciences. Topics may include animal adaptations, life cycles, food chains, ecosystems, biodiversity, habitats, conservation and Australian wildlife.

Some packs also include literacy, HASS, sustainability or inquiry skills connections where they naturally support the learning focus.

Are your resources aligned to the Australian Curriculum?

Our packs are designed to support the Australian Curriculum Version 9. Where relevant, each product listing includes the main curriculum code or codes connected to the resource.

Some packs have a strong primary curriculum focus, while others include supporting links to inquiry skills, literacy, HASS, sustainability or general capabilities. We avoid overstating alignment and aim to clearly show how each resource supports curriculum-connected teaching.

What year levels do you cater for?

We currently create resources for Foundation through Year 6.

Some packs are written for a specific year level, while others span a two-year band, such as Years 1–2, Years 3–4 or Years 5–6. Product listings clearly state the intended year level or year band.

Do your packs come in different sizes?

Yes. We offer three main pack types:

Mini Packs are focused, low-prep resources designed for a single lesson, short activity, revision task or quick curriculum-connected learning experience.

Standard Unit Packs provide a more developed topic sequence with teacher guidance, student activities and supporting materials.

Premium Unit Packs are more comprehensive units of work and may include extended activities, differentiation, assessment support, marking guides, activity cards, slides or posters, depending on the pack. See our guide Mini, Standard or Premium – Which Wildlife Pack Suits Your Class.

How do I purchase a pack?

Add the pack to your cart, select the licence option that suits your use, and complete checkout.

After purchase, you will receive access to your files by email and/or through your account dashboard.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe checkout.

For school purchases, purchase orders or invoice-based payment may be available for Team and Whole School licences. Please contact us if your school needs assistance with purchasing.

Can I get an invoice for my school’s finance team?

If your school needs a quote or invoice before payment, contact us and include the pack name, licence option and school details.

Do you offer discounts for multiple teachers or schools?

Yes. Team and Whole School licences are designed to provide better value when a resource will be used by more than one teacher.

A Team Licence is suitable for small groups of teachers, while a Whole School Licence is designed for use across one school site or campus. See our guide Single Teacher, Team or Whole School Licence – Which AussieAnimals Licence Do You Need?

Licence options

What licence options do you offer?

We offer three licence options:

Single Teacher Licence – one-off purchase
For one individual teacher, parent, carer, homeschool educator or tutor. This licence includes the current version of the resource only. Future updates are not included.

Team Licence – 3–5 teachers
A 12-month licence for a small teaching team of 3–5 teachers within the same school, campus, homeschool co-op or organisation. This licence includes access to resource updates released during the active 12-month licence period.

Whole School Licence
A 12-month licence for use by staff at one school site or campus. This licence includes access to resource updates released during the active 12-month licence period.

Are Team and Whole School licences subscriptions?

No, not unless automatic renewal is specifically offered and selected.

Team and Whole School licences are 12-month licences. They give eligible users access to the resource and any updates released during the active 12-month licence period.

If automatic renewal is not enabled, the licence does not renew automatically.

Does the Single Teacher Licence include updates?

No. The Single Teacher Licence is a one-off purchase that includes the current version of the resource only.

If the resource is updated later, those future updates are not included with the Single Teacher Licence.

Do Team and Whole School licences include updates?

Yes. Team and Whole School licences include access to resource updates released during the active 12-month licence period.

Updates are not lifetime updates. Access to updates applies only during the active licence period.

Can I share a pack with colleagues?

Under a Single Teacher Licence, the resource is for one individual user only and cannot be shared with other staff.

If you want to share a resource with a small teaching team, choose a Team Licence.

If the resource will be placed in a shared staff folder, school drive or internal resource library, choose a Whole School Licence.

Can I upload resources to my school’s learning management system?

Yes, if your licence allows it.

A Team Licence may be used by the licensed team within the same school, campus, homeschool co-op or organisation.

A Whole School Licence may be used by staff at one school site or campus and may be uploaded to a password-protected internal school LMS or shared drive accessible only to staff and students at that school site.

Resources must not be uploaded publicly or shared outside the licensed group, school site or campus. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more details.

Can homeschool families purchase packs?

Yes. A Single Teacher Licence is suitable for a homeschool parent, carer or educator using the resource with their own child or children.

If the resource will be used across a homeschool co-op or shared with multiple families, a Team Licence may be more appropriate, depending on the size and structure of the group.

Can tutors use the resources?

Yes. A Single Teacher Licence may be used by one individual tutor working with their own students.

If the resource will be shared across multiple tutors, staff members or a tutoring organisation, a Team or Whole School/organisation licence may be required. Contact us if you are unsure which licence applies.

Can I resell or redistribute these resources?

No. AussieAnimals Education resources are licensed for use, not resale.

They may not be resold, uploaded to public websites, shared in public folders, included in paid bundles, distributed through third-party marketplaces, or passed on to people outside your licence.

A Team Licence allows the licensed team to use and print the resource within the licence terms.

A Whole School Licence allows staff at one school site or campus to use and print the resource within the licence terms.

Curriculum and content

How do I know which pack is right for my year level?

Each product listing states the target year level or year band, subject area, main topic and relevant curriculum code or codes.

You can also use our blog guides and category filters to browse resources by year level, subject or topic.

Are your packs differentiated?

Differentiation varies by pack type.

Mini Packs are usually simple, focused resources written for the target year level or year band.

Standard Unit Packs may include some support or extension options.

Premium Unit Packs usually include more detailed differentiation, such as support, extension or challenge options, depending on the pack.

Do your packs include assessment tools?

Assessment inclusions vary by pack type.

Mini Packs may include an exit ticket or quick check for understanding.

Standard Unit Packs may include formative assessment tasks, answer support or review activities.

Premium Unit Packs may include a more complete assessment suite, such as rubrics, marking guides, exit tickets or summative tasks.

Check the “What You’ll Get” section on each product page for the exact inclusions.

Are your animal facts and species information accurate?

We aim to use reliable Australian wildlife, science and conservation sources when creating our resources.

Where facts vary by region, season or source, we aim to use age-appropriate wording and avoid overstating certainty.

Do your packs include First Nations content?

Some packs may include teacher-facing notes or prompts connected to First Nations perspectives, Country, sustainability or local knowledge.

Where included, this content is intended as a starting point for respectful teacher-led discussion. Teachers should follow their school, sector or local community guidance when teaching First Nations content.

Custom Packs and Corporate Projects

Do you create custom learning packs?

Yes. We can create custom learning packs for schools, councils, conservation groups, visitor centres and organisations.

Custom packs can be built around a species, local habitat, conservation issue, school project, excursion, sustainability theme or curriculum focus.

Do you work with corporate organisations?

Yes. We can create education resources for corporate organisations, especially for wildlife, sustainability, biodiversity, conservation, community engagement or CSR projects.

This may include branded learning packs, school outreach materials, campaign resources or family activity booklets.

Can custom packs include curriculum links?

Yes, where appropriate. School-facing resources can include Australian Curriculum Version 9 links, while community or corporate resources can be designed for broader education, awareness or engagement.

How do I request a custom pack?

Contact us with your project idea, target audience, preferred format, timeline and any branding or curriculum needs.

Returns and support

Can I get a refund on a downloadable resource?

Because our resources are supplied as downloadable files, we generally cannot offer refunds once files have been accessed or downloaded.

If there is a genuine technical issue, such as a corrupted file, incorrect file or significant content problem, please contact us at and we will work with you to resolve it.

I’ve found an error in a pack. What should I do?

Please contact us at with the pack name and a description of the issue.

We take content accuracy seriously and will review reported errors. Where needed, we will correct the resource.

Do I get corrected versions if an error is fixed?

If you purchased a Team or Whole School Licence and the corrected version is released during your active 12-month licence period, you will receive access to the updated version.

For Single Teacher Licence purchases, access is to the current version purchased. However, if there is a significant file error or correction issue, please contact us and we will review it fairly.

I have a question that isn’t answered here.

Contact us and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
